CNC Programmer

We are currently seeking a CNC Programmer to join our team in West Chicago. In this role, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Setup and process complex parts from start to finish on CNC machines.
  • Creating engineering documents. This includes drawings, inspection documents, tool layouts, offset sheets, operator and setup instructions
  • Must have full understanding of tooling applications (speed and feeds)
  • Must assist setup personnel in troubleshooting initial and existing jobs
  • Production process development and improvements. This includes contacting customers and working with vendors

Shifts Available:  1st shift openings. 1st Shift 6:00 am 2:30 pm

Education and/or Experience:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED),

5 years prior machine shop experience setting up and running production in a precision manufacturing environment or recent college degree in a engineering related field.

Strongly prefer someone with the ability to use and read various measuring instruments.

Knowledge of multi-axis CNC lathes, Swiss type CNC lathes, vertical machining centers also strongly preferred.

Experience with Solidworks or Partmaker strongly preferred.
